KSA: Nazeer Hussain Inaugurates Al Falah Premier League Cricket 

KSA: Think of cricket in Jubail, Al- Falah cricket ground comes next to your mind. This time, it is the turn of Al- Falah company to host a grand cricket festival in their home ground. The Al Falah Premier League cricket was inaugurated in a colorful function at Al- Falah Ground on March 3.

Playing cricket is next great event for the expatriates here in Saudi Arabia after securing an employment. Jubail, the buzzing Industrial city in the Eastern Province is home for many Industrial Services Establishments run by Mangaloreans. There are at least a dozen companies owned by Mangaloreans also own a cricket team of their own.

Nazeer Hussain, the Managing Director of Al Falah group of companies was the chief guest on the occasion. The event was inaugurated by Nazeer Hussain by releasing pigeons. Fire crackers and balloon display gave the much needed glitter to the inauguration ceremony. As the curtain was lifted for the inaugural ceremony, 15 cricket teams from different regions of Saudi Arabia gathered at the centre pitch to take oath and to espouse respect to human kind through spirit of cricket.

Nazeer Hussain gave a thrilling speech to inspire the players. The event was declared opened amidst the call for the spread of message of love and brotherhood by the MD of Al- Falah. Nazeer Hussain exhorted the cricketing brethren to become ambassadors of peace and harmony. He also advised the cricketers to uphold the spirit and dignity of this gentlemen’s game and not to take it as rivalry. Rafeeq and Nishar were guest of honor on the occasion. They too spoke briefly and encouraged the cricketers to live up to spirit of cricket.
