Kundapur: 30 year-old Man Arrested for Misbehaving with High School Boy

Kundapur: A person was arrested by the Byndoor police for misbehaving with a boy. The accused is identified as Karim Abrhar (30), from Udupi.

The boy, studying in Khambadkone Government High School, was on his way home on August 11. He stopped a car at Khambadkone and asked for a lift. Karim stopped the car and asked the boy to sit in the front seat. While on the way, Karim started to misbehave with the boy. The boy sensing the strange behavior of the man shouted for help.

Karim soon took the car towards the boys residence thinking it was an isolated place. Two villagers who were working nearby heard the screams of the boy and asked Karim to stop the vehicle. Karim let the boy out and moved on without a break.

The boy later informed about the incident to his parents and villagers, who later traced Karim’s vehicle near Maski. Karim sensing danger immediately left the place.

The police were informed about the incident. Karim was soon traced and detained. During the investigation by the police, Karim revealed that he was from Udupi and was living in Byndoor. The police have registered a case under the POSCO Act and produced Karim before the Kundapur Court.
