Kundapur: Duo Takes away Cash from Shop after Diverting Owner’s Attention

Kundapur: Two strangers walked into a general store in Shiroor market on Thursday and took away a bag containing cash when the owner’s attention was elsewhere.

The duo arrived at the shop owned by Venkatesh Prabhu. Asking for mats and drums, they kept him occupied and quitely walked inside the counter. They picked a bag containing Rs 22,800 and some documents and vanished.

A case has been filed at the Byndoor police station.
