Kundapur: Female Leopard Falls into Well in Yadadi Matyadi, Rescued, Released into Forest

Kundapur: A leopard that strayed from a nearby reserve forest in search of food accidentally fell into a 50-foot-deep unprotected well in front of the house of Seetu Marakalti on Wednesday night.

When its presence was spotted on Thursday morning, the family members informed the forest personnel. A team led by Brijesh Vinayakumar arrived with nets and a cage.

After a three-hour operation, the big cat was safely pulled out and put in a cage. Then it was released in a forest.

A leopard here, a leopard there!
