Kundapur: Former Councillor Ratnakar Sheregar Dies of Fall at Home

Kundapur: Ratnakar Sheregar (63), a senior Congressman and former town councillor died of a fall at home on Thursday evening. He is thought to have had a cardiac arrest.


Popularly known as ‘Janata Bhavan’ Ratnakar, he was a popular leader of the Rama Kshatriya community and had served as office-bearer in various organizations. In his younger days, he was a good Kabaddi player.

He is survived by wife, two sons and a daughter.
