Kundapur: ‘Learning is a continuous process’- Dr Renuka Prasad

Kundapur: Computer Science and Engineering department of Moodlakatte Institute of Technology Kundapur organized a 2-day workshop “Free open Source Software and Applications” on 4th and 5th April 2016 which was inaugurated by Dr Renuka Prasad, Professor, R V College of Engineering Bengaluru.

In his message, Dr Renuka Prasad said that “Students should not get restricted to a single subject instead they should gain knowledge from various resources available. He also quoted that learning is a continuous process.”

Prof Sathish S Amsadi, Principal MIT Kundapur presided over the function. Speaking on the occasion he said “Students should actively participate in the workshop and gain as much knowledge from the resource person”. He also praised the computer science department for conducting several activities which encourage other departments to do the same and also appreciated for playing a major role in the development of the Institution.

Later HOD of the department Prof Melwin D’Souza expressed his gratitude to Siddarth J Shetty, Chairman of MIT Kundapur for his support which has enabled to organize 3 workshops during the academic year.

Assistant Professor Arun A welcomed and thanked all the dignitaries for their presence.
