Kundapur: Lone Bison on Majestic March Damages Farm Growth and Produce

Kundapur: Farmers and agriculturists in the areas of the taluk, located on the lap of the western ghats, are going through harrowing times, as their growth and produce are being damaged by wild animals and birds during the last few months.

Deer, wild boars, peacocks and others visitors from the wild have caused a headache to the farmers already. The latest to show up again are the bisons (Indian gaur). Earlier this week, a sole bison marched into several villages and harmed the agricultural growth.

The worst affected was Chitte Rajagopal Hegde of Ulloor 74 village, which suffered the highest damage. The villagers have urged the authorities concerned to pay attention to the problem and save their growth and crops.
