Kundapur: Man from Punjab Falls from Train, Dies

Kundapur: A man hailing from Punjab died on the way to the hospital after falling from a running train on the Senapur – Bijoor track here on October 18.

The deceased has been identified as Sukhvinder Singh (40), hailing from Punjab. He was a army man.

On October 18, morning when the station master on duty noticed a man lying on the track, he immediately informed the police. The Gangolli police arrived to the spot and rushed the injured person to the hospital. On the way to hospital Sukhvinder succumbed to his injuries.

The police have recovered Sukhvinder’s identity card. A case has been registered in the Gangolli police station.
