Kundapur: MITK Holds National-level Workshop on ‘Cloud Computing Championship’

Kundapur: A two-day workshop on “Cloud Computing Championship” was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Moodlakatte Institute of Technology here, on September 11.

Abhishek Soni, resource person from IIT-Bhubaneswar (IFC3), inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. He appreciated the facilities and development of the college and explained the role and importance of Computer Science.

The chief guest of the event, Prof Shashikala Satish, Principal In-charge, wished for the success of the event and advised the students to make the best use of the workshop.

The event was presided by Melwin D’Souza, HOD, Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He explained the recent activities of the Computer Science and Engineering Department and the importance of cloud computing.

Moodlakatte Institute of Technology has been selected as the zonal center of IIT-Bhubaneswar and students can expect more technical events from this center.

The Public Relations Officer of the college, S Abdul Rahiman, was present on this occasion. Faculty coordinator of the workshop, Muralidhara B K, welcomed the guests and the gathering. The function ended with the vote of thanks by Lidiya of 7th semester Computer Science.
