Kundapur: Wild Bee Attack on Film Crew – Director Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar Hospitalized

Kundapur: Award-winning Kannada film producer-director Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar and his crew had camped in Shimoga district over the past few days. His latest movie, ‘Ishtakaamya’ is being shot on locations like Koppa and Sringeri and other Malnad centres.

As they were shooting on a hanging bridge at Nittur near Hosanagara earlier this week, a swarm of over a hundred wild bees are said to have attacked them.

Chandrashekhar received severe sting injuries and has been admitted to a private hospital here. Five others, including costume designer and the driver of the crew, have been admitted to the primary health centre in Kollur.
