Leopard Enters Yard of Farmer’s House in Katta – Dog Falls Victim

Subrahmanya: In a shocking incident, a leopard strayed into the yard of farmer Shankar Bhat in Govinda Nagar in Katta near here on Sunday night.

The place is located by the side of a forest and very often wild animals stray into the residential pockets. The leopard seemed attracted by the pet dog kept leashed in the kennel.

Since the door of the dog-house was open, the big cat straightaway made a dash into it and dragged it out. The poor animal was found in a pitiful state, with its abdominal part eaten up, at a distance away from the house.

The feline’s visit has created a scare in the region.

Leopards everywhere!
