M Tech Student Sudev Shenoy (25) Dies of Suspected Dengue

Udupi / Mangaluru: Sudev Shenoy (25), a resident of Devi Nagar in Parkala and a final year intern student of M Tech (Machine Design) at Nitte, passed away in KMC hospital in Mangaluru on July 6.


He had been admitted to the hospital on July 2 and was diagnosed with suspected dengue fever. He was a bright student. Following his Engineering graduation, he had served as a lecturer in a polytechnic institute in Manipal. After a year, he had joined the NMAMIT in Nitte to pursue M Tech.

He had got married only six months ago and is survived by mother and wife. Over the past month, he stayed in his wife’s house in Mani in Bantwal taluk and travelled to and from Nitte to attend classes.

His friends’ and family circle is in a state of shock over his untimely demise.
