Mangalore Boy Prasad Shetty Wins Gold Medal, bags ‘Strongest Man of India’ Title at NPC Jamshedpur

Mangaluru: In an impressive performance Prasad Shetty of Mangalore has won the Gold Medal and the Title of ‘Strongest Man in India’ at the National Level Powerlifting Competition conducted by Indian Powerlifting Federation from 2nd to 5th January at Jamshedpur.

Prasad Shetty contested in the 74 Kg class representing Karnataka and his total weight lifted during the competition was 260 kgs deadlift. Prasad Shetty was trained at Balanjaneya Gym, Car Street and was coached under Krishnamurthi Rao and Satish Kudroli.
