Mangaluru: Bombay 3 Group to Host Painting Exhibition at Prasad Art Gallery

Mangaluru: Prasad Art Gallery held a press meet at Mangalore Press Club Urwa here, on February 17.

Addressing the mediapersons, P.D Bhat from G.D art painting (Bombay) referred to his friends and fellow artists, D Amin Bala and PS Punchitaya Kasargod and said, “We three classmates met here in Mangaluru after fifty years and have decided to arrange an exhibition of our paintings at the Prasad Art Gallery.


We are artists who learnt art under the guidance of Prof GS Dandavathi, Prof DA Shetty and Prof BS Hegde at the famous art school, Noothan Kala Mandir of Bombay between 1961 to 1966.”

He further said, “We all were equally competent during our student life and have won many awards in all subjects. We were awarded with the prestigious Mysuru Dasara Painting Competition award and other awards too.

The show will be held from 19th to 22nd February between 11 AM to 7 PM at the Prasad Art Gallery, Ballalbagh.”
