Mangaluru: Bus Passenger from Mysuru Loses Bag Containing Laptop, Passport, Documents

Mangaluru: Veerendra Arya travelled from Mysuru to the city with his wife and child in a KSRTC bus earlier this week.

When he got down at the KSRTC bus stand in Bijai, one of his bags was missing. It contained a Dell laptop computer provided by his employers Bajaj, Aadhar card, the original birth certificate of his daughter, company’s identity card, passport and other documents.

A tagging system in which a counterfoil is to be retained and produced while claiming the luggage was being followed. Whether it has been given up is not clear.

Neither is it known if another passenger carried the bag in error or it was a case of theft.

The passenger has filed a complaint at the Barke police station as the missing case came to his notice after reaching the bus stand.
