Mangaluru: Chain Snatched from Man Walking near Kottara Service Road

Mangaluru: A chain was snatched from Narayan, who had arrived from the Kankanady Railway Station by bus and alighted near SLK Bar, Kottara in the early hours of September 30 and was walking on the service road.

Around 6:30 am, as he was walking near a petty shop, three young men came on a bike. One of the three snatched the gold chain from Narayan’s neck, while the other man on the bike snatched his bag and mobile phone.

Narayan screamed for help but by the time the locals could reach the spot, all the three had escaped.

The value of the lost chain, mobile and cash is said to be around Rs 25,000. A complaint has been filed in the Urva police station.
