Mangaluru: Childline Team Rescues 8-year-old Boy of Ballari Origin at Bajal

Mangaluru: A boy of about 8 years was found roaming around alone by the residents of Jalligudde in Bajal over the past week.

They also noticed that he cooked rice using a gas stove, but he did not seem to have any caretakers. On enquiries, he was not able to tell much about his parents, but could only say that his family hailed from a village near Hoovinahadagali in Ballari district.

A person claiming to be his uncle is said to have brought him to the city but left him behind last week. He has had no schooling.

On getting the information, the Childline 1098 team arrived and took him into their possession. He has been handed over to the child welfare committee.
