Mangaluru: Complaint to Police over Assault on Customer by Bouncer in Pub

Mangaluru: Stephen from the city, who had gone to a posh pub in the Empire Mall on M G Road to place a takeaway order, was reportedly assaulted by a bouncer employed there for security.

Stephen who arrived at 1-30 past midnight on Dec 31 asked for a takeaway. But he was asked by Nishant Shetty, a bouncer, to get out. An argument ensued and Nishant pushed him out of the premises.

The gunman of the owner who was watching the development is said to have hit Stephen in his head with the firearm.

Stephen has been admitted to a private hospital and a case has been registered at the Barke police station.
