Mangaluru: Dr Sheikh Mohammed Salman who Died in Muscat Laid to Rest in City

Mangaluru: The mortal remains of Dr Sheikh Mohammed Salman from Kaprigudda who had died in Muscat on Friday, May 29, were airflown to the city on Sunday, May 31 and the final rites were held soon thereafter.


He had served in a city hospital for some years and had taken up employment in a hospital in Muscat about two years ago. Family sources said that he underwent an ear surgery on Thursday. Suddenly his condition worsened and he died on Friday.

He had a new house built in Kaprigudda about six months ago. He is survived by wife and two daughters.
