Mangaluru: Final Rites of Master Vithal Held in Boloor Crematorium

Mangaluru: The final rites of Master Vithal, the veteran dance guru who passed away on Friday, were held in the crematorium at Boloor on Saturday around noon.

Hundreds of his disciples, well-wishers, admirers and friends paid their final respects to the departed soul. They included MLA J R Lobo, his disciples Ullal Mohan Kumar and Dr M Mohan Alva, Kannada Sahitya Parishat’s former president Harikrishna Punaroor, district president Pradeep Kumar Kalkura and others.

Mangaluru north MLA Mohiuddin Bava visited the house and consoled the mourning relatives. From Bengaluru, state minister for Kannada and culture Umashree has condoled Vithal’s death.
