Mangaluru: Fisherman from Andhra Gets Hit by Boat at Wharf, Dies

Mangaluru: Harish (30), hailing from Nellore in Andhra Pradesh, who was engaged in the fishing profession here, died in a freak mishap at the wharf in Bunder here on Thursday.

He was trying moor a boat by dragging its rope. It snapped and the boat forcefully tilted towards the shore. It gave a powerful blow to Harish and he was fatally injured.

He was taken to a hospital. But he died on the way. A case has been registered in Pandeshwar police station.
