Mangaluru: Four Vehicles Damaged in Road Pile-up in Mukka – One Injured

Mangaluru: A Toyota Innova car from Kerala proceeding to Kollur went out of its driver’s control at the Mukka junction on the northern suburbs early Friday morning.

The mishap occurred around 5-30 am on the national highway. Obviously out of fatigue of driving overnight and also possibly being new to the route the driver failed to observe the situation properly. The thick morning dew too worsened the effect.

The car first hit a barricade by the side of the road, then an autorickshaw in the park, a parked Honda Activa scooter and a new Swift car parked beside. The autorickshaw got totally smashed. Fortunately, its driver had gone to have tea from a stall nearby and was saved from the possible fatality.
