Mangaluru: Fourth Arrest Made in Fajir Church Theft Case – Three Still at Large

Mangaluru: The police from Konaje have arrested Abdul Jaffer(19) of Akshara Nagar in Malar of Pavoor village in connection with a theft that took place in Our Lady of Mercy church in Fajir (Phajiru) last month.

Azharuddin, Mushtaq and Afreez had already been arrested within a few days of the theft. On the basis of the information given by them, Jaffer was arrested.

He had been absconding after the theft. Another three are involved in the theft, according to police sources. Search is being made for them.

He was also involved in a few thefts elsewhere like from mobile service and fancy goods shops in Deralakatte. Two bikes, church-related materials and fancy goods
