Mangaluru: Girls top Hindi stand-up comedy competition by MRPL

Mangaluru: Students from 20 different colleges located in Mulky, Udupi, Puttur, Mangaluru, Bantwal and Sulia participated with zest, in MRPL’s inter-collegiate Hindi Stand-up comedy competition held yesterday, at the St Aloysius (Autonomous) College, Mangaluru. The top honours were all won by girls.

Eishanhluwalia, student of MAPS College, Mangaluru, bagged the First Prize and Sumayya Maryam, Heera Women’s College, Mangaluru won the Second Prize at a closely fought contest. Third Prize was shared between Alita D’Almeida, Poorna Pragya College, Udupi and Vaneesa Rachel, St Agnes College of Education, Mangaluru.

Consolation prizes were awarded to Musayyib Kazi, Milagres College, Mangalore, Shamanth Hegde, MGM College, Udupi and Devbrat Mishra, St Aloysius College, Mangaluru., to acknowledge and encourage the enthusiastic response from students.
