Mangaluru: Gold Shop Employee Accused of Theft of Jewellery Worth Rs 10 Lakh

Mangaluru: Santosh from Udupi, who was employed by a gold shop located in K S Rao Road locality in the city has been arrested by the Bunder police.

He has been accused of stealing jewellery worth Rs 10 lakh from within.

He was reportedly in charge of a section in th shop. When the shortfall in the stock was detected, the fingers of suspicion were clearly pointed at him.

A complaint had been filed by the management against him in this regard, which has led to his arrest.

The police are investigating the case.
