Mangaluru: Group Clash at Ballal Bagh – Barke Police Take one for Questioning

Mangaluru: The Barke police have taken a youth into custody in relation to a group clash near Hotel Pathumudi, Ballalbagh here on April 27.

According to sources, on April 27 morning there was a clash between two groups. A group from Talapadi had assaulted the students near SDM Law College. The same group of about 25 came near Hotel Pathumudi, Ballalbagh with swords and knives in the evening and assaulted the youth.

As soon as the Barke police reached the spot, some youth fled from the scene. The police chased the youth and were able to arrest one. The youth has been into custody for investigation.
