Mangaluru: ‘Immoral Rowdyism’ on Student near Mall – Two Accused Arrested

Mangaluru: In connection with the case of alleged assault on a student near a high-end shopping mall on K S Rao Road in the city a few days ago, the Bunder police have arrested two of the accused.

The student, Arjun, hailing from Kerala, had visited the mall with two female classmates, who happened to be from two different faiths. This was noticed by a few people, who questioned him for moving around with a woman from another community.

Their identity was not known. After a complaint was received by the Bunder police, they went through the CCTV system installed on the premises of the mall and tracked down the persons involved in the act.

The arrested persons are Mohammed Haris aka Mansoor (35), who runs a shop dealing in massage chairs in the same mall and Abdul Qader from Bajpe.
