Mangaluru: Journalist Prakash Hebbar Severely Injured in Serial Mishap at NMPT

Mangaluru: Prakash Hebbar (34), son of Ramakrishna Hebbar of Durgamba temple locality in Tadambail near Suratkal and a staffer of Vartabharati, a Kannada daily published from here, was severely injured in a road mishap near NMPT signal on Wednesday, Dec 23.

He was on his way from Tadambail to the city around 3 pm. As he reached the NMPT signal, a readymix concrete vehicle hit his two-wheeler from behind. When its driver suddenly applied brakes, it got into collision with another two cars.

Hebbar is said to have sustained injuries in the face, hands and feet. A case has been registered in the Suratkal traffic police station.
