Mangaluru: Kannada Film ‘Charlie’ to hit silver screens on Sept 17

Mangaluru: The director, Shiva briefed the media persons about the Kannada movie “Charlie”- the movie is being directed by Shiva who has assisted Yogaraj Bhat and Soori earlier. the film has all the ingredients and will be a commercial entertainer. Starring Krishna, Milana Nagaraj, Vaishali Deepak and Gurunandan, the movie has been Directed By Shiva, Written by Shiva, Screenplay by Shiva and Produced by LYM movie makers.

With a popular title like ‘Charlie’ it is not a comedy cinema from director Shiva but an action filled family sentiment with a small dose of comedy. The muhurut of this was held in last December but the protracted progress was because of a few hiccups the team of ‘Charlie’ faced. Firstly the team of ‘Charlie’ was ill for some time for hectic first schedule shooting at scorching sun in Hampi and surroundings. The hero of the film Krishna was injured in a fight sequence. After recoup from injury Krishna prepared his muscles for a chilling action scene of the film.

‘Madarangi’ fame actor Krishna sought time to adjust in his personality for the climax. It is a love cum action cinema for him. Vaishali Deepak ready for ‘Dental’ advertisement, was happy for good offer and atmosphere of work in this ‘Charlie’. Popular music director Veera Samarth explained the effort he has made in music department. It is first time production for producer Manju.

The music for “Charlie” is by Veer Samarth, with lyrics by Yograj Bhat, and choreography is by Murali. The five songs in the movie are – Ayyayyo Charlie, Beladingallu, Yaaro Geechidanta, Hakki Ondu Yeh Khuda, and Touch Touch.

The movie which is made at the cost of nearly three crore, will hit the silver screens on September 17, 2015.
