Mangaluru: Two teenage siblings from Bikarnakatte in the city, Saifu and Aman, had arrived at the Panambur beach on Sunday evening to spend time.

As they kept playing in water, they were dragged away by huge waves and faced the risk of drowning. Lifeguards who were keeping watch ran to their rescue and saved their lives.

Panambur Beach Development Project’s CEO Yatish Baikampady says that the lifeguards at the beach have saved over a hundred persons from drowning so far.
