Mangaluru: Lifeguards Rescue Urwa Resident from Drowning at Tannirbavi Beach

Mangaluru: Yojaka lifeguards patrolling the Tannirbavi beach rescued Rajesh Poojary, a resident of Urwa, from drowning on Monday evening.
While Poojary was playing in the sea water at the beach in front of the Our Lady of Fatima church in Tannirbavi, a huge wave engulfed him. As he was about to drown, the lifeguards swung into action and pulled him out.
As his condition was quite serious, he was admitted to a hospital.
