Mangaluru: Madoor Isubu and Ganesh Shetty Murder case – Five Jail Staff Suspended

 

Mangaluru: In connection with the double murder in the district sub jail, 5 of the staff have been suspended, due to lapses in performing their duties, here on November 6.

The suspended are Jail superintendent Obaleshappa, Jail Chief warden B M Navi, wardens J B Patil, A Kolara and S S Talwar.

On November 2, Madoor Isubu and Ganesh Shetty were killed in a gang fight inside the jail. The ADGP Prison Kamal Pant issued the suspension order to all the five Jail staff for negligence in performing their duties. Cases have also been filed against them and investigations are on.
