Mangaluru: Manohar Prabhu Shines in National Aquatics

Mangaluru: Manohar M. Prabhu, representing Karnataka State in Group II of the 42nd Glenmark Junior Aquatic Championship organised by the Swimming Federation of India at Pune, Maharastra from 13th July to 16th July, is a proud winner of 1 Silver and 2 Gold medals.

He clocked 1:12.73 in the 100M breast stroke to secure a Gold medal. He won his second gold medal in the 4x100M Medley relay. In the 50 M breast stroke event, he won the silver medal by clocking 33.44.

He is coached by Partha Varanasi and Niroop Kotian of Mangalore Aquatic Club in Mangalore City Corporation Swimming Pool. He is a class 9th student of St. Aloysius High School, Kodialbail and son of Manjunath M. Prabhu and Archana M. Prabhu.
