  1. Seasonal Festivals whether at the Beach or at any Park brings new awareness amongst the Citizens, particularly the youth to come forward with new ideas to contribute their talents and abilities that will also boost the tourism facilities in and around Mangalore. These seasonal gatherings should be encouraged for the schools and colleges to come forward and contribute their share towards helping the City in promoting tourism and various other seasonal attractions. Major Corporations such as MRPL and several other Business Groups should be encouraged to take part in many activities and donate attractive prizes as incentives. Food and beverages, including fruits in season should be distributed for the kids as well as the adults so that more and more participants are attracted. All of the above will boost the marketing concept for the welfare and development of Mangalore. We congratulate the Mayor for her initiatives, and wish her best of success in her esteemed position as a Mayor.
