Mangaluru: A car landed in a compound opposite Kulala Bhavan Thadambail after the driver lost control here on March 24.
According to sources, an Andra Pradesh registered car was moving towards Udupi from Mangaluru. Near Kulala Bhavan, when the driver was negotiating a curve at high speed, he lost control of the car. The car hit the road divider, an electric pole and then rolled down into a compound.
Both the occupants in the car, said to be doctors, fortunately escaped with minor injuries. It is learnt that they were returning home after attending a party. Their colleagues who were following them in another car assisted in getting them out of the car.
The car has been totally damaged. No case has been registered. Police are looking out for the car owner.
