Mangaluru: Sudden weather variations in the southeastern part of the Arabian Sea have resulted in erratic atmospheric conditions in the district.
Moderate to heavy overcast prevailed in the city since Monday with prospects of heavy showers. But only mild drizzle and showers were reported from a few places in the district.
These ups and downs resulted in the maximum temperature of 31 and minimum of 23 degree Celsius in the city on Tuesday.
In reality, the winter of 2015-16 was no winter at all. Even in the third week of December, the period long chilly nights otherwise, the maximum temperature in the city prevailed around 33 degrees.
Mild drizzles were reported from some parts of the city in the early hours of Tuesday. Cloudy outlook marked the whole day.
