Mangaluru: Reckless Driving Causes Accident – Three Injured

Mangaluru: Auto driver along with two passengers were inured when a Scorpio lost control and hit the auto near Platinum Theatre Falnir here on February 15.

The injured have been identified as Shaheeda (37), Sahiboon (60) and Auto driver Dayananda.

Speaking to mangalorean.com one of the passenger who was unhurt said that they had come from Bhatkal for treatment, before going to the Unity Hospital they went to a hotel near Milagres to have lunch. After having lunch when they were going to the Unity hospital by Auto near Platinum theater a Scorpio coming at high speed in the opposite direction hit the auto, a Fortuner which was parked in front of a building and the compound wall and came to a halt. The Driver of the Scorpio immediately fled from the spot.

The injured were shifted to Indira Hospital nearby for treatment. Shaheeda’s right hand has been fractured, the auto driver and another passenger have sustained nose, hand and head injuries.

Kadri Traffic police have registered the case.
