Mangaluru: The United Muslim Organization of DK District staged a protest against the “Conspiracy to defame the Muslim community” in the name of Love Jihad by the Sangh Parivar in front of the DC office here, on October 7.
Central Muslim Committee Vice President Ashraf addressing the protesters said that in the district, the Sangh Parivar has systematically targeted the Muslim community in the name of love jihad. “The three leaders, who are calling themselves as leaders in the society, do not have any right to call themselves as leaders. Through Durga Vahini organization, they victimise girls and teach the girls to trap Muslim youth in the name of love jihad. We have filed complaints several times in the police station in this regard but no action has been taken against them. Durga Vahini members train the girls to file false cases against the Muslim youth,” he added.
He further said that untoward incidents take place in the district every day, the Cobrapost has revealed the bitter truth of the Sangh Parivar and how they target Muslim youth in the name of love jihad. “We know that there are RSS Chaddis in the police department. The leaders of the Sangh Parivar themselves have revealed that there are 60% RSS trained police constables in the police department. When we go to the police station to file complaints, some police use foul language, which shows they are trained by the RSS brigade. Shenava says that their organization is so powerful that in spite of having a Congress government in the state, they are scared of them since they are powerful here.”
He also said, “Let the Sangh Parivar come and attack our children if they have guts. Let the government create this city as a peace city before making Mangaluru a smart city.” He demanded the withdrawal of all false cases booked against the Muslim youth in the name of love jihad. “If the government will not take action against these three leaders, we will intensify our agitation.” He demanded the arrest of Karnik, Shenava and Srikar Prabhu and also for their expulsion from the district. He also said that the police commissioner Murugan is very transparent and he takes action against those who violate the law. Ashraf urged the police commissioner to investigate the entire police department and said that if there are any RSS trained police constables in the department, they should be transferred to other districts. “We do not need such police in the department who support the Sangh Parivar in their dirty work,” he said.
Rafiuddin Kudroli speaking on the occasion said, “When there is injustice or any untoward incident, we gather to protest. We, Muslims, are 17% in Karnataka state and no government has fulfilled our demands. The RSS is formed to dominate the minority and backward classes.” Recalling the recent incident in Attavar, he said that the president of the United Muslim organization had questioned on how they could appoint Hindu girls in Muslim firms but the media misunderstood the statement. “90% of the people in the state are peace lovers. The BJP got only 34% of the vote, 66% did not vote for them. In the coming days, people will come out and end fascism. When a Muslim speaks, it is called as incitement but when Kalladka Bhat delivers inciting speeches, no cases are filed against him. We are ready to sacrifice anything for peace. The name “Love jihad” started in Kerala and spread to Karnataka. It is a ploy sponsored by the RSS to harass and trouble the Muslim youth.”
He also said that 17% Muslim Community have voted the District minister in-charge and the health minister. “They should show their power and inform the Chief minister and the home minister about Cobrapost’s post and insist them to come to Mangaluru and participate in peace talks and build confidence in the people of Mangaluru. Leaders who are involved in the crime should be severely punished,” he said.
Zafar Sadiq addressing the protesters said that the media has not published the string operation of Cobrapost. “Leading papers and TV channels did not publish the news. Cobrapost did not interview any drunk man; they interviewed the leaders who created “Love Jihad” to target the Muslim youth. The media has remained silent about the issue. Be it Pramod Muthalik or any other leaders, they come to Mangaluru and hold press meets and the media highlights their press meets. We have filed complaint against Kalladka Bhat but no action has been taken. Even when Ganesh Karnik openly says that in the police department, 60% of them are RSS trained, the police department or the elected leaders have not given any statement. What power do the ministers have if the Sangh Parivar has 60% RSS trained constables in the police department. How safe are we in DK? Strict action should be taken against the Sangh Parivar leaders. In the Gram Panchayat, there are RSS members; they should be expelled from the post. The district minister should invite the chief minister to Mangaluru and hold peace talks with the people. We are ready to die anywhere, anytime because those who are born on this earth have to die one day or the other.”
Ismail K said that the Sangh Parivar hoisted the Pakastani flag in Sindagi but Muslims were blamed. “Hindu girls are not missing because of Muslim youth but because the Hindu boys depend on the salaries of Hindu girls’. Many of them do not go to work. They take money from the girls for liquor and then harass them at night. To escape from such harassment, Hindu girls elope with others.” He also said that when there are such incidents, communal violence is created as a means to divert from the main issue. He urged the Muslim youth not to react when there are untoward incidents in the district. “The Sangh Parivar is using people from the lower classes to create communal violence in the district.”
Human Rights president Shafi Bellare said that the RSS company’s another drama, “Love Jihad”, has been launched. “From many years, the RSS is trying to defame the Muslim community. Eight years ago, there were bomb blasts in temples and mosques, and Muslims were portrayed as terrorists. In the Malegaon bomb blast, the RSS was exposed. Now, they have also been exposed in love jihad. In Sindagi, the RSS hoisted the Pakistani flag and next day morning, the same people protested and blamed Muslims. There were not many police of RSS in Sindagi and the case was cracked by the police exposing the sangh parivar culprits. Now love jihad has also been exposed; the Sangh Parivar is the creator of love jihad. Jagadish Shenava said that they are very powerful and can handle any government. We think that his statement is true because the ministers are not opening their mouths, are they afraid? We doubt that the Congress government is indirectly supporting the Sangh Parivar to carry out their work. In Dakshina Kannada, the leaders of the Sangh Parivar gives money to some of the parents of Hindu girls who target Muslim youth. If a Hindu girl goes with a Muslim boy, the Sangh Parivar leaders give supari to the parents to kill their own daughter, which a VHP leader revealed in the article by Cobrapost.”
He also said that the Sangh Parivar says that they protect girls. “But when a Hindu girl was raped and murdered in Kundapur recently, why did the RSS and Sangh Parivar not save that girl? Where was Karnik, Shenava and Srikar Prabhu? There are a number of rape and murder cases in the district. Why is the Sangh Parivar not protecting those girls from their own Hindu men? Karnik said that 60% of the police constables in the department are RSS trained. Sometimes we doubt that some percentage of constables are RSS trained because when we go to the police station to file a case against Kalladka Bhat with the recorded CD of his inciting speech in Tulu, the police ask us to translate the CD in Kannada. Such incidents remind us that there are some RSS trained police in the department.
While concluding he said that RSS is not only the enemy of the Muslim community but it is dangerous to the country. “The RSS is a threat to Hindu Dharma and girls of this country. It is necessary to clean it from the country. The jobless Hindu youth are monitoring girls and boys wherever they go. Girls and boys do not have any freedom to talk freely.” He also urged the people to join hands to curb such practices from the district.
Later, a memorandum was submitted to the Deputy Commissioner and Police Commissioner by the United Muslim organization. General Secretary of Popular Front of India Shariff Bajpe, Shamshuddin and leaders from 32 organizations were also present.

RSS is a patriotic organization and If something has to be banned it is IM, SIMI, AIMIM and other muslim organization who disrupts peace in the district by either cattle trafficking or wooing hindu girls and converting them to islam. RSS has always fought against the injustice metted out to the hindu community and whats worng in that. The world learnt communal ism from muslim community who never things beyond religion. Muslims majority countries like pak and bangladesh has harrased minority hindus and made them flee the country and majority hindus of this country has given equal opportunity to the minority muslims be in bollywood, Politics or cricket but in pakistan you dont find a single hindu in any field. Look at the way they treat minorites. Shia community is safe only in india as compared to other countries. RSS will and always remain a patriotic organization..jai hind
