Mangaluru: Sanathana Natyalaya Students to organize Gurunamana & Sanathana-Samskara Chinthana

Mangaluru: “The students of Sanathana Natyalaya-Ballalbagh in City will be hosting a “Gurunamana” to Vidushi Smt Sharadamani Shekar, and Sanathana-Samskara Chinthana, on Sunday, 2 August 2015 at Sanghanikethan at 9.30am” said Srilatha Nagaraj and Radhika Shetty-Teachers/students at Sanathana Natyalaya, during a press meet held at Mangaluru Press Club.

Inauguration will be done by Nalin Kumar Kateel, MP at 9.30 am, while Ulipady Guthu Rajesh Naik will preside over the function. Chief Guest for the occasion will be K. Raghuveer Kamath. Valedictory function will be at 5.30 pm., presided over by N Vinay Hegde-Vice Chancellor, Nitte Education Trust, along with Smt Sujatha V Hegde. Guests of honor will be Kumble Sundar Rao-Yakshagana Artist, and capt. Ganesh Karnik- MLC, Karnataka.

Following the inauguration at 9.30am, there will be Bharatanatyam by Vidwath Students (10.15am); Talk by Sulibele Chakravarthy Bharatha-Shastra-Shaastra Sangama (10.45am); Kutumba Prabodhan for parents (Kajampadi Subramanya Bhat), Advice for Adolescents (Dr Anushya Devi Dattam Ayurdhama), Baala Gokula for Children (Bhagini Dhanyatha, Bengaluru (11.45am); Gurunamama (by all disciples of Sanathana Natyalaya (2.30pm), Bharatanatyam (5pm), followed by valedictory function at 5.30pm. Bharatanatyam and “Rashtraaya Idam (dance on patriotism) at 7pm.

Dhanpal Shettigar and Raghuveer Gatti, both parents of dance students; and Nagaraj Shetty-trustee of Sanathana Natyalaya were also present during the press meet.
