Addressing the mediapersons Convener of Sri Rama Sena, Venkatesh Padiyar said, “The word ‘Yajna’ means worship of God, charity and togetherness. One of the main purposes of yajna is to get together religiously inclined people to fulfill a useful purpose. In today’s world the power of unity is of great importance. It is important to keep in mind the cleanliness and purity of the site of worship.”

He further said, “We are happy to say that Sri Rama Sena and Arya Samaj are jointly holding the ‘Gayatri Yajna’ on 21 February at 11 am at the Kordabbu Barageshwara Temple, Kudkorigudde in Kankanady. The unseen powers awaken within us and are given an organised direction if these rituals are followed.”

“We would like everyone to attend and participate in the Gayatri Yajna,” he added.
