Mangaluru: Srinivas College to Host National-level Conference on Dec 12

Mangaluru: The MBA department of Srinivas Institute of Management Studies (SIMS) will host a daylong national conference on the theme, “Recent Trends in IT, Management, Education and Social Sciences” on Dec 12.

The conference is intended to offer an opportunity to aspiring management faculty, researchers and delegates from industry not only to listen to experts from the fields of management, IT, education and social sciences, but also to actively involve themselves by contributing papers in their area of interest.

The conference also proposes to deliberate on strategies that can be adopted by Indian business entities to gain sustainable competitive advantage in the turbulent global economy to stay ahead from others.

Prof Dr Rajashekhar, principal, Srinivas College of Physiotherapy, Pandeshwar, as chief guest, will inaugurate the conference. Prof Dr Ramachandra C G, associate professor, department of Mechanical Engineering, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil will deliver the keynote address.

CA A Raghavendra Rao, chancelor, Srinivas University and president of A Shama Rao Foundation, Mangaluru, will preside over the conference, A Srinivas Rao, pro-chancellor of Srinivas University and vice president of A Shama Rao Foundation and Mitra S Rao, secretary of the Foundation, will be the guests of honour.

Around 50 papers from faculty, research scholars, subject experts of various colleges from all over India will be presented and deliberated over at the conference.
