Mangaluru: Suspected Cash Crunch Leads Youth to Jump into Sea and End Life

Mangaluru: Ranjit (26), son of the late Narayana Safalya of Madoor, jumped off the Rudrapade rock into the sea and ended his life around noon on Saturday.

Financial stress is said to have led to his act of despair. Local divers Ashok and Mohan tried to trace for over an hour. But the sea was rough and operation did not succeed.

But his body was found in the same area some time later. The Ullal police arrived and shifted the body to the primary health centre for an autopsy.

A case has been registered by them.
