Mangaluru: Swami Suviranandaji Symposium ‘Shraddha’ at Ramakrishna Mission

Mangaluru: The Ramakrishna Math organized “Shraddha – A symposium for Post Graduate Students” in commemoration of Swami Vivekananda’s historic address at the Parliament of Religions at Chicago in 1893.

Swami Suviranandaji, Asst. Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission and Math inaugurated the symposium and stressed on the importance of applying the ideas of Swami Vivekananda every day for a meaningful life. He also lauded the efforts of Ramakrishna Mission Mangalore for its contribution in the Swacch Bharath Abhiyan. Vijay Sankeshwar shared his experiences and highlighted that values play an important role in achieving success. Capt.Ganesh Karnik, special invitee, motivated the audience.

Swami Sarvasthanandaji of Ramakrishna Math, Rajkot; Prof. K Raghotham Rao of Bengaluru, and B S N Murthy of Hyderabad were the resource persons and conducted the interactive sessions.

About 550 postgraduate students from different institutions in and around Mangaluru attended the programme.
