Mangaluru: Talent Research Foundation held a press meet at the Press Club Urwa here on January 12.
Addressing the mediapersons convener of the Programme Mohammed U B, said, “TRF is doing a great job in identifying the grass root workers who are unemployed or underemployed and empowering them with love care and assistance May God bless this Institution and make it a role model for all other NGOs who are striving similarly. The programme is scheduled for three days 15,16 and 17 January, 2016 at the Town Hall.”
He further said “TRF has come with ‘Back to school campaign’ where school drop-outs are brought back to the schools. The aim of this programme is to contact as many school drop-outs as possible and convince them to pursue their education. If they are too young they will be encouraged to join the mainstream schools straight away. The TRF volunteers will conduct regular evening classes for these students and see to it that they are ready to answer the 10th standard examination at the end of the year directly. “
“A Walkathon will be held on January 15, at 3pm from the Police Commissioner’s office to Town Hall. The Walkathon will be flagged of by IGP Amrit Paul. TRF is also conducting a “Real Hero” programme on January 17, at 9:30 AM where achievers from different fields will speak on this occasion. We always believe in creating role-models for the larger society to emulate and follow. We are always on the hunt for people who have excelled in their fields and recognise their work and thus felicitate them with “Talent National Icon” 2016 on January 17, at 4 PM. More events are going to be conducted in these three days programme” he added.
