Mangaluru: Taximen’s Excesses on Woman Passenger at Airport – Case Shifted to Bajpe Station

Karkala: A group of private taximen had allegedly chased, abused and assaulted a woman passenger from Bengaluru on June 12.

She was arriving was arriving to see her ailing father-in-law during his last moments. By the time she got over the problems and filed a police complaints, the elder had already breathed his last.

She had filed a case at the Pandeshwar women’s police station. Since the incident had occurred under the jurisdiction of the Bajpe police station, the case has now been transferred to them for further investigation and action.
