Mangaluru: Theft of Cash and Stationery at St Joseph Joyland School in Kolya

Mangaluru: Miscreants broke into St Joseph Joyland School in Kolya on the outskirts of the city on Tuesday night and took away cash and stationery materials.

They broke open the lock on the main gate and the main entrance. Two drawers of a table were also cracked and Rs 72,000 in cash and textbooks, pencils, compass boxes and other stationery materials have been taken away.

The theft came to light when headmistress Veena Bhat arrived at the school on Wednesday morning. The Ullal police and fingerprint expert arrived at the school and held investigations.
