Seven of our soldiers who were safeguarding our country have sacrificed their lives in the Pathankot terror attack. When Police Superintendent Salwinder Singh was kidnapped and his vehicle was hijacked, the soldiers got into action. Young Lt Colonel E K Niranjan, a bomb expert who was with the National Security Guard was killed when he was defusing a grenade at Pathankot IAF base. A group of six terrorists entered Pathankot Air Force base wearing the dress of Indian soldiers and attacked our soldiers.
