Mangaluru: CCB police arrested underworld don Vicky Shetty’s aide Deekshit Poojary (26), a resident of Maroli who was absconding since 2014, near the KSRTC bus stand here on September 4.
Various cases have been registered against Deekshit Poojary in various police stations. In Barke police station a case has been filed in the John Pinto murder case, Vijayendra Bhat shootout case, Advocate Prakash kidnap case and conspiracy to kill some business tycoons in the city.
In 2014, Deekshit was involved in the attempt to murder case of Ravi Poojary’s aide and in Mangalore South police station a case was filed against him in the Durgaprasad Shetty’s murder case. He did not appear before the court after the court issued a arrest warrant in connection with a case registered in the Kavoor station.
Deekshit was produced before the court.
