Mangaluru: Youth’s Body Found in Mutilated State on Railway Track – Suicide Suspected

Mangaluru: The body of an unidentified youth aged about 20 was found with his head separated on the railway track leading from platform 1 of the central railway station around noon.

It appeared to be a case of suicide. He might have laid his head on the track just before the Thiruvananthapuram-bound train chugged off at 2-30 pm. The remains were found soon after the train departed.

With a height of about 5’6” and a roundish face, he is of moderate body frame and has a grey T-shirt and Bermudas on.

No other clue of identity was available on his person.
