Manipal: Two from Odisha Possessing Ganja Arrested from Indrali Railway Station Vicinity

Manipal: The Udupi district crime investigation bureau (DCIB) police arrested two persons who had arrived by train at the Indrali railway station here.

The men, identified as Sagar Polai (19) and Rabi Kishan (22), both hailing from Ganjam district in Odisha, were found carrying ganja weighing 5.145 kgs, which was seized, besides two mobile phones. The total value of the seized goods has been put at Rs 1.26 lakh.

They are said to have brought the contraband from Gujarat to Udupi, to be taken to and peddled at Manipal.

The Manipal police have registered a case.
